The installation of an automatic fire suppression system <br /> � (fire sprinkler system) throughout the building or a 2 hour <br /> �� � rated area separation wall to divide the building into <br /> ,� spaces of 6,000 square feet or less (this could be the <br /> W/u� � existing dance studio/sewing room wall with 1 additional <br /> !a�" layer of 5/8" gypsum wall board added to each side) . A 30" <br /> high parapet or equivalent roof framing protection per 1988 <br /> UBC Sec. 505(e) is also required for the area separation <br /> wall. <br /> ✓1. All spaces on the second floor must have access to both exit <br /> stairs. Rooms are allowed to exit through ar.other room (one <br /> onlp) before reaching the exit stair enclosure except exit's <br /> are not allowed to go through kitchens, store raoms, rest <br /> roomn, closets or similar spaces per 1988 UBC Sec. 3303(e) . <br /> 3.
