A condo development of residential humes is <br /> being constructed contiguous to our properties, north of Arby's and my commercial property. Water and <br /> =ilt is flowing from the residential condo development site onto my parking lot and into a storm retention <br /> sump wilhin in the parking lot. Attached are two photographs. I frst raised this as an anticipatEd concern <br /> regarding the grading of the neighboring property in writing to the City of Everett when comments were <br /> solicited regarding the proposed development. That concern has become realized, as we are already <br /> experiencing some run off from irrigation occurring on the development, but it will undoubtedly worsen��ith <br /> rainy weather. <br /> The grading on the development site is brought up against the west and north parking lot curbs on the <br /> parking lot perimeter, to the height of the curb, as though the curb were serving as a wall. I believe the <br /> developer should have built a wall to retain its soil. The curb is actually within the property boundary <br /> somewhat ana pavement ex!ends further out from the curb. Draining from the irrigation percolates <br /> downward until stopped by the pavement and then flows over the pavement, and under the concrete curb, <br /> across our parking lot to the lowest level. At the lowest level it drains, evater and soil, into our storm <br /> retention container. My concern is the burden of cleaning the parking lot, the eventual loss of the storm <br /> drain as it fills with soil, and increased hazard from the accumulation of ice on lhe parking lot during cold <br /> temperatures. <br /> Attached are two photographs of the daily drainage occurring now. <br /> Jz <br /> ;i�zi�oo� <br />
