IHFORMATION FOR ^EVELOPER: <br /> 1. Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design and Construction <br /> Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works Department <br /> showing site parking layout, landscaping, utilities, storm drain- <br /> aqe, temporary construction erosion control, and all requirad <br /> improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works <br /> Department approval of these drawings is required prior to a^g <br /> permits being issued. All improvements shall be completed, <br /> approved, and warranted before the Occupancy Permit is issuad. <br /> 2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris <br /> at all times during constzuction. Dust suppression and street <br /> cleaning must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. <br /> 3. Fire resistive construction is required on the east exterior <br /> wall. <br /> 4. one hour occupancy separation is required around interior parking <br /> bays. <br /> 5. The Police Department ha� the followinq security rc!commendations: <br /> a. The perimetex doors should be solid core or metMl with double <br /> cylinder deadbolts installed. If doors open to the outside <br /> or hinges are exposed, pin hinges should be provided. <br /> b. Monitored fire and intrusicn alarm systems should be <br /> i.nstalled whic:: is zoned for each entity or office. <br /> c, Any store front glass windows need lacking case bolts top and <br /> bottom and maximum security deadbolts with 1-3/4 inch throw <br /> and 3/4 inch laminate� steel. <br /> d. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 1-2 foot <br /> candles <br /> e, Any ba, or garage snould have metal security doors secured <br /> with 3/8 inch case hardened steel hasps or chain and padlocks <br /> with 1/2 inch case hardened steel shackles. <br /> f. The more large office windows that are visible to the parking <br /> area, the safer the area is from assaults and thefts. No <br /> windows or few windows, especially windows that open on the <br /> other sides and rear, gives more security. <br /> q. During the final stages of construction, please contact Dick <br /> Thornberry, Crime Prevention Officer at 259-0416 for further <br /> security recommendations. <br /> 6. The premises must be identified at the entrance from the street <br /> or be clearly visible from the street for emergency vehicle <br /> access. <br /> 5 <br />
