Asbestos-cement pipe shall bc removed <br /> and disposed of in accordance wilh the practices speciGcd by thc State of <br /> Washington Department of Ecology and thc Snohomish �ounry Solid Waste <br /> Division. <br /> 2-02.2 Removal of Bridees, Box Cuberls and Olhcr Draina�e Structures <br /> Where struclures or inslallation of concretc, brick, blocks, etc. interfere with thc <br /> constn�ction thcy shall be removed, and all pipc opcnings shall be properly <br /> plugged watcnight with Class 3000 concrete, or with mortar and masonry, blocks <br /> or brick. <br /> WLcre tlie structures are removcd, tlie voids shall be backfillcd wiUi suitable job <br /> cxcavated material and compactcd as the Gnginecr may direcl, and such <br /> compaction work shall be considered as incidental to lhe removal work. <br /> 2-02.3 Retnoval of Pavement <br /> Classification of pavemenl removal for concrele and asphaltic concrete pavement <br /> shall bc as follows: <br /> A.
