Secure raceways to reinforcing rods to prevent sagging or shifting <br /> during concrete placcment. <br /> 2. Spacc raceways laterally lo prevent voids in concrete. <br /> 3. Install conduit larger Ihan 1-inch tr�de size (DN27) parallel to or at <br /> right angles to mam reinforcement. Where conduit is at right angles to <br /> reinforccment, place conduit close to slab support. <br /> 4. Transition from nonmetallic tuUing to Schedule 40 & 80 nonmetallic <br /> conduit, rigid steel conduit, or 1MC before rising above (loor. <br /> 5. Make bends in exposed parallel or banked runs from same ceuterline <br /> to make bends parallel. Use factory clbows onlv where elbows can bc <br /> installed parallel; othenvisc, providc field bcnds for exposcd parallel <br /> raceways. <br /> G. Install pull wires in empty raceways.
