All references refer to the 2009 International Building Code (IBC), the 2009 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2009 International Mechanical Code (IMC), the 2009 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC refe�enced standard for accessible design is the 2003 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities A117.1-Z003 (ICC/ANSI). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. In order for tiie processing of your application to contiriue, it wiil be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. 1. IBC 1109.Z requires the showers to be accessible and therefore comply witii ICC/ ANSI A117.1, Section 608. I2. ANSI A117.1, Section 404.23 requires an 18" of maneuverability clearance at door nos. 105 and 107 on the latch sides. 3. The plans should include the requirement for providing 50 cfm of exhaust individually from each finger nail station. See IMC Table 403.3, State Amendments (enclosed).
