One-hour construction shall <br /> extend through can�pies. Areas used for storage are exempt from the <br /> provisions of referenced ordinance; ie a 6,000 sq, ft. display area <br /> with additional stcrage in back would be allowable. <br /> - Any "high loading" ur storage of inerchandise would be required to <br /> comply with seismic requirements of the Uniform Building Code. <br /> - Certificates of Occupancy are issued separately for the shell of a <br /> building and to indi��idual tenant spaces as improvements are com- <br /> pleted. A C/0 for the shell must be signed off by the Planning <br /> Department, Public lVorks Department, Fire Marshal 's Office and the <br /> Building Department. Occasionally the improvements required by <br /> Planning (landscaping) and Public lJorks (drainage and parking) can <br /> delay the issuance of a C/0.
