Dibble Engineers of the Inc. <br />sustained to the business located at 1205A-D Everett Mall Way,age caused by <br />e dam <br />(DEI) performed two consecutive site visits on August 22h animand s lereview forstructural damage wash <br />accidental fire. Minor damage was due to the fire itself - <br />Thep �3 their haste, chainsaws were <br />due to the fire departments attempts to ventilate and secure the building• <br />In used to open up sections of the roof to allow smokedtoo exit. Theseifferent spen�ed were <br />made with no attention <br />to the existing truss structure and as a result, many <br />Based on the damages observed, repairs should be made as follows: <br />In locations where the top chord of the truss has been notched/sliced/cut: <br />1. Fill the cut with either SET22 or SETXP epoxy <br />2. Sister anew 6' long 2'x4' to each side of the top chord using IW' x 3" SDS screws. (SK-2) <br />3. Screws should be attached at 6" o/c with 4" end between the cut and first screw <br />Hi locations where the top chord is missing lengths of 1" or more or where adjacent cuts reside within 12ft <br />of each other or where there are more than two cuts on any single truss: <br />1. Replace the entire truss with like ldnd to match original <br />2. Reattach to bearing walls to match original <br />In locations which appear to have sustained fire damage: <br />1. Contractor shall survey all damaged framing and sheathing <br />2. Remove all fire damaged Gypsum, sheathing, framing and debris in the vicinity of the <br />3.
