General Site Description <br />The project is located on the southwest curner of Everett Mall Way and 3rd Avenue <br />S.E. in Everett, Washington. The site consists of approximately 20 acres and is <br />generally flat except for a gentle slope near the northeast corner. North creek <br />cuts across the northeastern corner of the site. Vegetation over most �f the site <br />consisu of smail willow, alder, and cottonwood trees mixed with large fir, <br />hemlock, and cedar trees. <br />ExistinR Draina�e <br />Overall site drainage appears to be poorly defined. Shallow ditches exist from west <br />to east to drain surface water into North Creek. <br />Proposed Drainage <br />The runoff and collection system was sized using the City of Everett Public Works <br />Guidelines. The storm detention system was sized using a 25 year design storm <br />while conveyance system was sized for a 10 year storn�. <br />The entire storm system has been designed to transmit the runoff through a series <br />of downspouts, tightlines, catchbasins and pipe to the detention pond located near <br />the northeast corner of the site. Storm water will exit tne pond through a multiple <br />orifice restrictor into North Creek. <br />-1- <br />
