A double-check detector valve assembly (DCDA) should be shown on the drawings to replace the single check detectors serving this space. The buildir,g owner should have received correspondence from Tim Markham, Everett Cross-Connection Specialist, earlier this year. According to our rerords, fhis tenant space is currently being served by a single-check detector. 2. All replacements of a sin9le check detector to a double r_heck detech�r will need to be installed by a private contractor, since the ciry only installs new services upon request. 3. The fire service for the tenant space should be shown from the tenant: space to the city main, induding the cross connection. 4. Standpipe revisions are required to be shown on the drewings, per IBC 905.3.3. 5. The revised sprinkler submittal will require three copies of the following, so that the submittal can be revi�wed: a. A catalog cut indicating the DCDA manufacturer's modei in the 'Backflow Prevention Assemblies Approved for Installation in Washington State', published by the Washington State Department of Health, current edition. b. A plan and section of the intended location and installation of the DCDA. The DCDA can he located in an interior or an exterior location, to comply with City of Everett Standard Construction Drawings 515 or 523, attached. c. The model number of the DCDA should be sho�vn on the drawings. d. ��he routing of the fire service from the city main should be shown relative to the property line of the building. e. The riser room should be identified on the pians. All plan sheets affected by these revisions should be resubmitted (three copies each). Prior to submitting revisions, I recommend that you resolve any outstanding questions that you may have about tliis corrections letter, to speed up tl�e process of permit issuance:
