CITY OF EVERETT' USE PERMIT May 10, 1982 Applicant: The Farmer's Market of Snohomish County Location: Everett Mall (South Entrance) Phone: 259-9422 Activity: Farmer's Market (seasonal produce, fish, eggs, crafts) Time Frame: June 5 to October 31 Hours of Operation: Weekdays 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. Weekends 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Initial operation on Friday, Saturday and Sunday May increase to daily during peak season Conditions: The following conditions shall be adhered to by the Farmer's Market of Snohomish County in conducting their seasonal farmers market at the Everett Mall. I. The site shall be developed per the site plan submitted to the City on April 26, 1982. 2. A health permit shall be obtained from the County Health Department prior to opening. Operation of the Farmer's Market shall meet Health Department requirements. 3. This activity shall operate from approximately June 5 to October 31, after which the City will evaluate the use prior to approving the activity for future seasons. The site shall be cleaned up and free of debris within five days after closing for the year. 4. Any lights installed shall not result in a glare on adjacent internal access routes, or on the PUD right-of-way. 5. In the event the City Traffic Engineer determines that the location of the Farmer's Market is disruptive to the parking function or pedestrian or traffic circulation flows for the Everett Mall, the Farmer's Market shall be relocated to the east or to another location agreed upon by the City and the Farmer's Market. 6. Provisions should be made to facilitate pedestrian movement within the parking lot area and the market area, as well as between the market area and the Everett Mall Village (i.e. crosswalks, painting of walkways). 7. Failure of the applicant to comply with any of the above conditions shall be an indication of lack of good faith and therefore provide the City cause to take appropriate action resulting in closing the activity.
