The support of the new rooftop unit (RTU) is listed at 435 pounds, not including the curb. <br />The installation of this RTU requires structural review and a wet -stamped letter from a <br />Washington State licensed engineer to verify that the existing roof structure can support <br />the unit as indicated on the drawings. If required, modifications to the roof framing <br />should be included to supplement the letter. <br />All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and contain sufficient information to ensure <br />that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes, including: <br />the 2003 International Building Code (IBC), the 2003 International Mechanical Code (IMC), the <br />Washington State Energy Code, (WSEC) 2004, and the Washington State Ventilation & Indoor <br />Air Quality Code (VIAQ) 2003, including amendments by the State of Washington, and as <br />adopted by the City of Everett. <br />Upon resubmission of the drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review will <br />begin.
