With the <br />addition of the following items, the plans are approved. <br />1. Ceiling tiles in prep areas and dishwashing areas are to be smooth, non-accoustical <br />and easily cleanable. <br />2. The ventilation system shall be installed and operated to meet applicable building, <br />mechanical and fire codes. <br />3. Lockers or suitable facilities shall be provided for the orderly storage of employee <br />clothing and belongings. <br />4. All food service equipment shall meet the requirements of the National Sanitation <br />Foundation, N.S.F., or equivalent. <br />5. The interior of the walk-in cooler is classified as "splash zone". The surfaces must be <br />smooth and of an easily cleanable and corrosion resistant material. Paint is not to be <br />used. <br />6. Whan floors are subjected to water flushing for cleaning, the wall and floor junctures <br />are to be coved and se& ..d. <br />If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout or equipment, the <br />Snohomish Health District must be notified. <br />A pro -operational inspection is required prior to opening for business. Please contact the <br />Food 3rogram office about one week in advance to schedule an appointment.
