Component Description <br />UCH Control System <br />The UCH Control System Is used for actuating the Range Guard Cylinder and Valve Assembly. <br />The UCH Control System can be mounted directly on the cylinder or to a wall. The UCI I Control <br />System can he operated with: <br />• Automatic mechanical detection (fusible -links and thermo-bulb links) <br />• Remote and local manual operation <br />• Automatic electrical activation <br />A+ Control Box <br />"rhe A+ Control Box is used for actuating the Range Guard Cylinder and Valve Assembly and <br />mounted directly to a wall. The A+ can be operated with: <br />• Automatic mechanical detection (fusible -links and thermo-bulb links), <br />• Remote manual operation. <br />2-1 SUPPRESSION COMPONENTS <br />2-1.1 Cylinder and Valve Assembly, P/N B12000K <br />Table 2-1 outlines the dimensions for each Cylinder and Valve Assembly model. <br />The DOT Cylinder and Valve Assembly: <br />• Conforms to DOTITC SpecillcaUon 4BW/4BA <br />• Cylinder and Valve Assembly is pressurized wlth nitrogen to 175 PSIG (12.1 bar) at 70OF (21°C) <br />Protective eye wear must always be worn when working with pressurized cylinders. Never <br />® service the Cylinder and Valve Assembly unless the Anti -Recoil Plate (P/N 255681) and <br />Valve Protection Plate (P/N 255096) are installed. Death or serious injury and/or property <br />WARNING damage could occur as the cylinder may be violently propelled.
