These comments address building <br />issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, <br />Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2003 International Building Code (IBC), or the 2003 <br />International Mechanical Code (IMC), both as amended by the State of Washington, unless noted otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br />Division with two complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br />Construction <br />0 The orientation of north arrow on sheet A2.1 should be revised to match the site plan e-mailed on <br />March 13th. The site plan should be included on the drawings and indicate distance from and <br />location of lot lines, grades and adjacent streets, per IBC Section 106.2. <br />✓ 2. Please confirm: Occupancy: A-2; Construction type VB, per IBC 2003 Section 303.1 and IBC Table <br />503. <br />3. Sheet A0.2 should be revised per the following ANSI Al 17.1-2003 requirements: a vertical grab bar <br />in toilet roonms (Section 604.5.1). The towel dispenser with waste receptacle should be lowered so <br />that the access height of the operable portion is based on the specified depth, per Table 606.7. <br />4. Sheet A9.1: detail references are missing or incomplete for the glazing on interior walls in the <br />banquet dining areas. Salad bar cabinetry should meet height requirements for accessibility. <br />Upon submission of the revised drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review will begin. <br />All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and infommation to ensure that the proposed structure will <br />be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
