This report presents the
results of our field exploration, laboratory tests, and
engineering analysis.
Our test pits encountered granular till soils beneath the
site. The proposed structures may be supported on conventional
shallow spread and/or continuous footings bearing on either
competent native soils or on structural fill. Higher bearing
values may be utilized for footings bearing on dense undisturbed
till soils that are generally present approximately four feet
below existing site grades.
This report has been prepared for specific application to this
project in accordance with generally accepted geotechnical
engineering practices for the exclusive use of Auto Mall
Associates and their representatives. No other warranty,
expressed or implied, is made. We recommend that this report, in
its entirety, be included in the project contract documents for
the information of the contractor. The following sections of this
report describe our study and contain recommendations regarding
foundation design criteria, earthwork considerations, and site
drainage.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
At the time our study was performed, the site and proposed
building locations were as shown schematically on the Test Pit
Location Plan, Plate 2.
1805 136th Place NE., Suite 101, Bellevue, Washington 98005 / Bellevue (206) 643-3780/Seattle (206) 464-1584
