Since the egress of the first floor is being revised in this tenant improvement, it may affect the required <br />egress of other tenants on the floor. A complete first floor plan is required to cvaluate the proposed <br />separation of tl�e front ei�trance from other tenants' usage. A current first floor plan should be provided, <br />minimally indicating egress, occupant loads, and occupancy types. <br />2. T'he con�Wction type of the building was revised on this application to II-B; on the shell permit the <br />construction type was identified as Type III-B. Additional verification is required from all tenants and <br />the „wner of tUe building to change the conslruction type to a more restrictive type. <br />3. �ach iloor of the tenant improvement should indicate existing and new emergency lighting and signage, <br />to include: <br />• Illuminated exit signage at exits and exit access doors, per IBC 101 l.l. <br />• Emergency egress lighting, per IBC Section 1006.3. <br />• Tactile exit signs, per IDC Section 1011.3. <br />Note that the Team nffice Room 137 requires egress lighting and signage outside of an inside of tl�e <br />room, since it is an intervening room included in the exit access, per IBC Section 1013.2. <br />4. All locations of safety glass should be noted on the plans in hazardous locations for new construction, <br />per IDC Section 24063 <br />5. The counter height in the toilet rooms and in the Break Room 112 should not exceed 34 inches, per <br />AN3I Sections 60G3 and 902.3 <br />These comments address building issues only.
