You are advised that this is an incomplete submittal. Pian <br />review wili resume when the requested information is submitted. Please submit two comn/ete newsets of <br />printed plans for permit by mail or by dropping them off to my altention at our permit counter. Please review <br />and respond to the comments below. All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to <br />ensure that the proposed structures will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes, with two sets of <br />drawings submitted for revisions. <br />Generai <br />1. Due to the variery and number of signs in each submittal, all sign supports should be referenced to <br />each specific sign fcr clarity. <br />2. Footing should be noted as existing or new, and all new work should be identified on the drawings for <br />permit. <br />Structural <br />All sign altachments should be shown on the drawings to be sized sufficiently and designed to support <br />the specific weight of the sign to resist forces from wind, gravity and seismic loading, per IBC 1603.1. <br />a. For new post signs, please include a section indicating the depth and materials of the sign <br />support, to indicate the dimensions of the concrete cover used to retain the sign posts in place, <br />and the method of sign attachments. <br />b. For new wall signs, Please provide section details and notes that identify type of sign <br />attachment, length and size, the overall number of attachments, and dimensioned depth of the <br />attachment into the �cific tvoe of wall construction that will be supporting the sign. <br />1. <br />Due to the weight and design of the maximum height ciearance bar, a new footing should be indicated <br />on the drawings for the support of that structure. <br />These comments address building issues only. Revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br />(Utilities, Public Works, or Planning). Code references cited include tF�e 2012 International Building Code <br />(IBC). Ail codes referenced, as adopted by the City of Everett, should include current revisions by the State of <br />Washington. Note that federai laws may be more restrictive. <br />
