With tlie additian of the following conditions, the plans are approved. <br />1. The HealU� District operating pertnit application process for the deli addition must be completed prior to <br />opening for business. <br />2. Three-compartment sinks must be Naliona! Sanitntion Fouuda(iar (NSP) or equivalent listed and be <br />freestanding with integral drain baards at Uoth ends. <br />3. An indirect waste drain is required for the three-compartment sink and any equipment in �vhich food is <br />placed. <br />4. Water heslers must be of suffcient size to provide hot water to dishwasher and/or scullery sinks and at the <br />same time provide hot water to all hand wash sinks. <br />5. All food service equipment, both new and used, must be listed by the National Sanitalion Foto�dntion (NSP) <br />or equivalent for its intended use. Used and new refrigeration must be capaUle of holding potentially <br />hazardous food at 41 °F or below. <br />G. Gxtra wall protection is required on walls behind all sinks, including restroom han�1 �vash sinks, and food <br />prcparation counters and taUles. A 1G-inch high backsplash of plastic laminate, fibergiass-reinforced plastic or <br />cqual is acceptable. A backsplash higher U�an 1G inches is required on the wall behind counter top equipment <br />tallcr than 1G inches. Ploor to ceiling protection is required on the �vall behind dishwashers. Wall protection <br />beliind mop sinks must cover the entire splash zone. Plastic coated hardboard is not acceptable. <br />7. The floor must be surfaced widi a durable, nonabsorbent, easily c]eanable material. <br />S. Thc ceiling above the faod preparation areas must be nonperforated, nonabsorbent, smooth and casily <br />cleanaUle. <br />9. All light fixtures in food preparation and storage arcas must be provided with covers or shatterproof bulbs. <br />Hot hold unit heat lamps must be provided with shatterproof bulbs. <br />10. Plumbing must meet state and local codes. <br />A prcoperational iuspectim� is required prior to opernting permit issuauce �nd approval to open for <br />business. At the time of inspection, the construction of the food service establishment must be complete at:d all <br />equipment must be in place and in proper operating condition.
