Sections 105.5 and R105.5 of the International Building <br />Code and International Residential Code state that permits become invalid if the work is not <br />commenced or is suspended or abandoned for more than 180 days. Work under your permits <br />will no longer be authorized unless you: <br />1) Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since <br />your last inspection, or <br />2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, or <br />3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension, detailing justifiable cause for extension. <br />It is your responsibility to ensure that permitted work is properly and safely completed, and that <br />all required inspections are performed. Please contact us by May 9, 2013 to schedule <br />inspections or request extension. After that time the file will be sent to microfilm without <br />finaf approval. <br />Please note that we will not be sending repeated letlers if after further inspections the permit <br />once again reaches expiration.
