This memo includes a projecl description, an <br />estimale of changes in vehicle Uip generalion associaled wilh Ihe expansion, and iden�ificalion o( any <br />necessary miligation measures lo oliset traf(ic impacts. <br />Project Description <br />The proposed Evergreen Beauly College Expansion currently occupies approximately 6,834 square•feet of <br />building Ooor area within a commercial mixed use deveiopmenl along SE Everetl Mall Way in Everelt, <br />WA. The existing Evergreen Beaury College pwvides Naiionally Accredited education, training, and <br />teaching credenlials in cosmelology, esihetics, and maniaire/pedicure lhrough bolh course and hands�on <br />Iraining al Iheir exisling Evereu faciliry. The existing laciliry provides 44 beauly/barber Iraining stations <br />wiih supporting wash slalions, six separale (acial/massage posilions, a manicure/pedicure open area, a <br />small open Iraining room, several small o(fices, and limiled balhroom facililies. <br />The proposed projecl would enclose a ponion of Ihe existing manicure/pedicure area, doubie Ihe <br />available bathroom facililies to Ihe college and public wstomers, allow crealion of a new dispensary area. <br />provide an enclosed conference arca for stalf/faculiy and sludem meetings, and allow for ihree separaie <br />enclosed lraining education rooms oulside of Ihe "public" portion of Ihe handson iraining facililies. The <br />iotal increase in proposed floor area for �he Evergreen Beaury Coilege is approximately 4,092 square fee�. <br />An exisling floor plan highlighled willi the proposed expansion componenl5 (oullined in blue) is provided in <br />Figure 1.
