State of Washington Department of Agricutture Order Numbers 1229, 1230, and <br />1322. <br />2. American Association of Nurserymen Standard ANSI 260.1-7973. <br />3. Plant names as per "Standardized Plant Names: as adopted by American Joint <br />Committee of Horticulture Nomenclature. <br />Underthis Section eitherthe Landscape Contractor or an individual or firm underthe <br />Contractors dired supervision is to pertorm the work. In either case he / she is to be <br />registered in the Stete of Washington by RCW 18.27.020. <br />Substitulions: Approval of substitutions will be made only in exceptional cases when the <br />Contrador submits satisisdory evidence that, through no fauk of his own, specified or <br />otherwise approved items cannot be obtained in tfine to avoid delay of the work. In any <br />case, substitutians are subject to acceptance by the Owner. <br />PROTEGTION OF EXISTING GONDITIONS: <br />Protect work, adjacent property, public, and be responsible for any damage or injury <br />arising irom this contract due to actions or neglect. <br />Confine wor!c to areas designated. Do not disturb existing vegetation outside of projed <br />limit lines. Protect all trees within project limiis not designated to be removed. Repar or <br />replace vegetation damaged as a resuft of Contraclors opereCion to satisfaclion of Owner <br />at Contraclors expense. <br />Renow atl utility, irrigation, mechanical, and electrical plans so that digging / drilling <br />operations do not damage lines. Repair or replacement by onginal installer shall be made <br />at Contractors expense for any damaged lines. <br />SUBMITTALS: <br />Priorto starting work, submit: <br />1. Invoices irom nurseries holding plant material for the project. <br />2. One gallon topsoil, planting backfiil, and mulch samples, tor approval. <br />3.
