Paul McKee
From: Ken Lee [KenL@brhinc.com]
Sent: Friday, November 12, 2004 8:07 AM
To: 'PMckee@ci.everett.wa.us'
Subject: 910 SE Everett Mall Way
L&
FlreAssembry.pdf
Hi Paul,
I am still working on the changes for the Everett Retail Building. As I
have been working though the issues, I have come up with some question
regarding domestic water and the fire sprinkler room.
+Why does the existing water supply from Everett Mall Way need to be
abandoned from Bigfoot Java to the new building? We were hoping to utilize
the existing water meter.
+For the DCDA situation, we are leaning towards leaving the sprinkler room
as is and having the DCDA be located in a vault. With that, does the vault
need to be in landscaping or can we locate it in the parking area/asphalt?
In addition, does the Post Indicator Valve need to be in a certain location?
The FDC is shown as before with no comment from the city. It is located in
the landscape area and I assume it to be Ok. The Everett Engineering
Standards only show the DCVA. I have attached an example of a Renton
engineering spec. that shows what I am getting at.
+What Utility Vault model/size does the DCDA vault need to be? The
standards does not give a size or dimensions.
Thanks,
Ken
t
OP
