f_
CKGROUND
The site of the proposed temporary Frontier Bank facilities is an 0. GO
acre parcel abuttiny the south side of Everett Mall LYay approximately one-quarter
mile east of 77th Avenue S.E. in the City of Everett, LYashington. (See Vicinity
Map attached as Exhibit 'A'. ) It is covered entirely by a well compacted gravelly
fill material, sloping gently in a southerly direction at roughly 2.5 - 30. The
proposed development on the site will not significantly increase discharge of
stormwater runoff along the south line--a conservative judgement would be an
increase in the 'C' factor from a pre-development figure of 0. 6 or 0. 7 to abeut
0.85 following development.
PROPOSAL
The proposal to collect and disperse stormwater runoff following comple-
tion of construction activities is to construct a 2' deep x 18" wide dispersal
trench along the south property line. Runoff will be directed towards the south
line by grading patterns and released into the dispersal trench by 7" drainage
(or weep) holes in the extruded concrete curbinq at 18" on centers. 'The top of
the trench will be constructed 6" below finished grade and an emergency overflow
will be provided alonq the south line to allow potential stormwater overflow to
travel in sheet flow in its natural southerly direction.
7
►!
