(Changes are
underlined in this document.)
FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATION
OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE
CITY OF EVERETT
IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION
OF VERIZON NORTHWEST FOR
APPROVAL OF A REZONE REZONE #05-001
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the property at 527 East
Casino Road, Everett, Washington, be rezoned
from a C-1, General Commercial/with contract to a
C-1 designation (without contract). The rezone is
for the property on which a 45 space parking lot is
developed. The property was part of a
concomitant agreement for rezone in 1979.
INTRODUCTION
Verizon Northwest (Applicant) requested a rezone of property at 527 East Casino Road,
Everett, Washington (subject property). It is the intent of the Applicant to remove the concomitant
agreement in order for a 45 space parking lot on-site to be zoned as C-1, General
Commercial.
A hearing was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on May 26, 2005.
At the hearing the following presented testimony and evidence:
Dave Tyler, City of Everett Planning Department
Michael Morgan
Blu Croix Ltd.
3961 Blackbird Way
Calabasas, CA 91302
At the hearing the following exhibits were submitted and were admitted as part of the
official record of these proceedings:
1 .
