NSIS is a tenant of Everett Station. Effective July 24, 2005,NSIS will be dissolved and its management,program and fiscal responsibilities will be assigned to Everett Community College. The current lease agreement with the city will also be transferred to Everett Community College (EVCC). EVCC will assume all liabilities and duties as well as all rights of NSIS pertaining to the payment of all rents to become due under the lease agreement after the effective date of the assignment. The current five-year lease agreement expires January 22, 2007. RECOMMENDATION Authorize the Mayor to sign the Assignment of Lease Agreement between North Snohomish, Island Skagit Counties Higher Education Consortium and Everett Community College.
