May 8, 2013 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Moore and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered their oaths of office and Mayor <br /> Stephanson presented them with their badges. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comment. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Alan Miller, Everett, spoke regarding the chronic nuisance property <br /> ordinance and questioned how proactively it is being implemented. <br /> Deputy Chief Templeman responded to Mr. Miller's remarks. He stated <br /> that the Everett Police Department has taken a very aggressive approach <br /> regarding their enforcement and application of the chronic nuisance <br /> ordinance. They've stepped up their formal process of notice and <br /> demand letters over the past year, and the mailing of rental/landlord <br /> notification cards. <br /> Mayor Stephanson requested that the Police Department follow up with <br /> Mr. Miller and provide Administration and the City Council with an update. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA <br /> Riverfront Assignment Briefing <br /> Presented by Dave Davis, Public Works <br /> Dave Koenig, Planning <br /> City Attorney Iles stated that Council Member Gipson requested a copy of <br /> the documents related to the possible assignment to Polygon sooner than <br /> later. Council President Moore concurred with the request, and as such, <br /> 130 <br />
