PROPOSED MODIFICATION TO SUBSTANTIVE <br /> SECTION 3 OF THE BLOCK 248 RESOLUTION <br /> 3. The City Council approves a Waiver of Certificate of Appropriateness to allow <br /> demolition of the houses in Block 248 not able to be moved or retained,with the following <br /> conditions: <br /> (a) No buildings shall be demolished in Block 248 until after January 1, 2006,except as <br /> provided below. The purpose of this condition is to give Providence Everett Medical Center <br /> time to utilize its best efforts to find a developer and location(s)to move at least 16 homes (75%) <br /> from their present location to an appropriate relocation site. Provided, however, if by September <br /> 1, 2005, Providence Everett Medical Center has exercised its reasonably best efforts, in the <br /> opinion of the Planning Director, to both find a developer and location(s)to move the houses it <br /> owns in Block 248 and find an alternate location(s) forparking and construction staging but has <br /> been unsuccessful, to avoid adverse parking impact to the neighborhood by utilizing Block 248. <br /> this condition shall be deemed satisfied. <br /> 'Conditions 3 (b), (c) and(d) are unchan'ed] <br />
