Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $ -0- Additional Required $ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: Acceptance of the 10%petition by City Council will allow the applicant to gather signatures on the 75% petition. City Council will determine whether Council will: (1) approve the gathering of petition signatures representing 75%of the assessed valuation of the annexation area, as found within the annexation boundaries depicted on the attached map, (2) geographically modify the proposed annexation area, (3)require the adoption of a comprehensive plan for the area proposed for annexation, and (4)require the assumption of existing City indebtedness by owners of property within the proposed annexation area. There is one property owner in the subject annexation area. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Approve resolution accepting the 10% petition and Notice of Intent, submitted by Allan Clark to gather signatures on the 75%petition for the Clark East annexation, located south of 96th Street SE and west of 21St Ave SE. 15
