EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA 8:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2005 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: August 31, 2005 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $940,104.59 for the period of August 20, 2005 through August 26, 2005 (2) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $ 2,655,727.48 for the pay period ending March 5, 2005 (3) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $ 2,660,683.87 for the pay period ending April 2, 2005 (4) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $ 2,656,029.23 for the pay period ending August 20, 2005 ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) (5) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Amendment to Contract E05-071 which reflects the Office of Domestic Preparedness approved six month extension of the grant expiration date and to revise the CFDA numbering (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with ECS Engineering, Inc., to continue the engineering study of power supply issues at the Water Filter Plant in the amount of $33,000 (7) Authorize the Mayor of his designee to accept the grant award for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant for Fund Year 2005 PUBLIC HEARING: (8) Approve the vacation of all of that portion of Main Street lying east of S. 2nd Avenue and adjacent to Blocks 19 and 22, Plat of the Town of Lowell, except that portion of Main Street vacated by Snohomish County on February 25, 1952, and direct staff to prepare an ordinance subject to the conditions as contained in the staff report AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
