8 <br /> CONCLUSION: The City has identified property owned by the abutting land owner that is <br /> beneficial and needed for public access and utility purposes. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that City Council approve the proposed street vacation and direct staff to draft <br /> an ordinance providing for said vacation subject to the following: <br /> 1) An easement for existing water and sewer lines be retained over the right of way being <br /> vacated; <br /> 2) An easement over the north 30 feet be retained for pedestrian bridge and utility purposes; <br /> No negative comments or opposition has been received to date. <br /> 0 <br />
