#.%,=A <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5239 <br /> A Resolution supporting the request for the Snohomish County <br /> Council to amend the Urban Growth Area Boundary to include City <br /> of Everett owned land which is east of the existing city limits <br /> and west of the Snohomish River <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has a desire to cooperatively work with Snohomish <br /> County to provide quality services to citizens within the Urban Growth Area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has purchased property for recreational and agricultural <br /> purposes and part of the land is outside the Urban Growth Area Boundary and the city <br /> limits;and <br /> WHEREAS,there is the need to amend the Urban Growth Area Boundary to have all the <br /> City owned land within the City of Everett;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett intends to use the property currently outside the Urban <br /> Growth Area Boundary for agricultural uses and access. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL <br /> THAT: <br /> 1. The City of Everett wishes to have all property noted on the attached map under its <br /> jurisdiction because it is entirely under City of Everett ownership. <br /> 2. The Everett City Council supports the request to amend the Urban Growth Area <br /> Boundary shown on the attached map to be considered by the Snohomish County <br /> Council as part of their docketing procedure in the 2002 annual Comprehensive Plan <br /> update. <br /> 3. The City of Everett commits to zoning the Urban Growth Area expansion to A-1 <br /> Agriculture and further limiting the uses to agricultural related and access. <br /> 4.
