EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA <br /> 8:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2005 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: October 5, 2005 <br /> Mayor's Comments <br /> Council <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,679,146.73 for the period of September 24, 2005 through September 30, 2005 <br /> (2) Approve the closure of various streets (see attached map) for the 18th Annual Puget Sound <br /> Festival of Bands on October 22, 2005, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., sponsored by the Cascade High <br /> School Band Boosters with the following conditions: (1) at each point where a street is <br /> closed, a volunteer will man the post during the entire event wearing appropriate safety <br /> gear; and (2) the designated crossing point for the bands at 38th and Broadway will have <br /> four certified flaggers or uniformed police officers to ensure safe passage of the bands and <br /> pedestrians <br /> (3) Approve Bid Call 2005-794 for Public Safety Wireless Network Equipment <br /> ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) <br /> (4) Authorize the Mayor to sign Agreement GCA4579 for Commute Trip Reduction <br /> Implementation with the Washington State Department of Transportation <br /> (5) Ratify and/or approve the execution, by the Mayor or the Transportation Services Director, <br /> of change orders one through nine with vendor ERG, change orders six through nine with <br /> project consultant IBI, contract amendments one through eight to ERG, and amendments <br /> one through three to the interlocal agreement with Sound Transit, King County Metro, <br /> Community Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap Transit, and the Washington State Ferry System <br /> (6) Approve a Resolution establishing change order authority for the Regional Fare <br /> Coordination (Smart Card) Project <br /> AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE <br />
