EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA 8:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2005 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: October 5, 2005 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,679,146.73 for the period of September 24, 2005 through September 30, 2005 (2) Approve the closure of various streets (see attached map) for the 18th Annual Puget Sound Festival of Bands on October 22, 2005, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., sponsored by the Cascade High School Band Boosters with the following conditions: (1) at each point where a street is closed, a volunteer will man the post during the entire event wearing appropriate safety gear; and (2) the designated crossing point for the bands at 38th and Broadway will have four certified flaggers or uniformed police officers to ensure safe passage of the bands and pedestrians (3) Approve Bid Call 2005-794 for Public Safety Wireless Network Equipment ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) (4) Authorize the Mayor to sign Agreement GCA4579 for Commute Trip Reduction Implementation with the Washington State Department of Transportation (5) Ratify and/or approve the execution, by the Mayor or the Transportation Services Director, of change orders one through nine with vendor ERG, change orders six through nine with project consultant IBI, contract amendments one through eight to ERG, and amendments one through three to the interlocal agreement with Sound Transit, King County Metro, Community Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap Transit, and the Washington State Ferry System (6) Approve a Resolution establishing change order authority for the Regional Fare Coordination (Smart Card) Project AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
