The <br /> other regional partners are Sound Transit, King County Metro, Community Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap <br /> Transit, andthe Washington State Ferry System. The project is in its final stage of design with beta testing <br /> anticipated for summer 2006. Since April 2003 the project has generated twenty-five change orders and <br /> contract amendments. They are as follows: <br /> • Change orders one through nine to the Contract with the vendor, ERG. <br /> • Change orders five through nine to the Contract with the agencies' project consultant (IBI) (change order <br /> #5 was approved by Council in May 2003). <br /> • Amendments one through eight to the Contract with the vendor, ERG. <br /> • Three Amendments to the Interlocal Agreement with the regional partners. <br /> • Of the twenty-five changes listed above, only five affected the City of Everett's share of the project cost for <br /> a total net increase of$36,844 to the City of Everett. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Ratify and/or approve the execution by the Mayor or the Transportation Services <br /> Director of change orders one through nine with vendor ERG, change orders six through nine with project <br /> consultant IBI, contract amendments one through eight to ERG, and amendments one through three to the <br /> interlocal agreement with Sound Transit, King County Metro, Community Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap <br /> Transit, and the Washington State Ferry System. <br /> R11-1/101205/Smart Card Project Changes 2 9 <br /> i <br />
