9- <br /> FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF <br /> COSTCO WHOLESALE FOR APPROVAL OF <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO REZONE RESOLUTION <br /> NO. 4123 REZONE #03-002 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to the Everett City Council that <br /> Resolution No. 4123, approved by the City of Everett on <br /> June 13, 1995, be amended to allow the Applicant to <br /> construct a new retail gasoline facility at 10200 — 19th <br /> Avenue S.E., Everett, Washington, with the conditions <br /> listed herein. The amended Resolution should also <br /> include any additional amendments that the Everett City <br /> Council so establishes. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Costco Wholesale (Applicant) requested an amendment to a City of Everett Rezone <br /> Resolution that was approved in 1995. Resolution No. 4123 (Resolution), passed by the <br /> Everett City Council on June 13, 1995, rezoned property at 10200 — 19th Avenue S.E., <br /> Everett, Washington (subject property). Since the rezone, the subject property has been <br /> developed as a wholesale/retail store of Costco Wholesale. The zoning created by the <br /> Resolution is B-2, Community Business. <br /> The Applicant requested an amendment of the Resolution in order to construct a new retail <br /> gasoline facility at the corner of 19th Avenue S.E. and 102nd Street S.E., Everett, <br /> Washington. <br /> A hearing was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on September 15, <br /> 2005.
