7 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending and closing the special construction fund <br /> entitled "Fire Station No.6 —Additions & Alterations", Fund 342, Program <br /> 004, as established by Ordinance No. 2500-00. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recognized the need to remodel Fire Station No.6 located <br /> at 9520 Evergreen Way; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2500-00 created the special construction project entitled <br /> "Fire Station No.6 — Additions and Alterations", Fund 342, Program 004 to provide for <br /> the design and construction costs required to construct additions and alterations to <br /> existing Fire Station No.6; and <br /> WHEREAS, additional funding is necessary to complete the construction of Fire Station <br /> No.6 —Additions and Alterations; and <br /> WHEREAS, with the additional funding provided by this Ordinance, the purpose of the <br /> fund has been accomplished; and <br /> WHEREAS, there are neither outstanding obligations of the fund to be paid nor <br /> uncollected revenues to be received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2500-00 which reads as follows: <br /> The estimated cost of the project is $630,000 including costs related to design, <br /> construction, equipment, and contract administration. <br /> Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> The estimated cost of the project is $889,062 including costs related to design, <br /> construction, equipment, and contract administration. <br /> Section 2: Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2500-00 which reads as follows: <br /> 2 5 <br /> r <br />
