The current agreement,which expires December 31,2005,has been mutually beneficial to CHI and the City. <br /> Weyerhaeuser Room revenue to the City for 2005 is projected to be 10%more than earned in 2004. <br /> The agreement's scope of work remains the same. CHI will continue to be responsible for elements such as the following: 1) <br /> Promotion of the Weyerhaeuser Room through its website and other promotional tools;2)Provision of turnkey event management <br /> including booking,billing,room set up and teardown;and 3)Provision of on-site staff(for at least thirty-minutes at the beginning <br /> of an event)to assist customers as needed. <br /> CHI has managed the Weyerhaeuser Room since February 2002,first as a vendor to a third-party management company,and since <br /> January 2005,as a direct contractor with the City. Staff recommends that the City renew its agreement with CHI for the promotion <br /> and management of the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station through March 31,2007. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with Colby Hospitality, Inc. for <br /> Management of the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station. <br /> 40 <br />
