Chamhion <br /> and Mr. Cronin tvere aUsent. <br /> The reading of the minutes of the OctoUer 2, 1973 meet+ng was dispensed with. <br /> A hearing was held ou t]ie application of Marcus Stein, 140 iVIagnolia, Everett, <br /> for a variance from Section 15. 04. 090 E. C. C. (Zon:ng Code) R-Z, Single <br /> Pamily Iligh Density Residence Zone, SuUsection E, yard requiremen[s for <br /> permission to construct a garage to the east property line. Airport Acres, <br /> Lot 4II, less East 40 ft. and all Lot 49 and less East 5 ft, of North 72 feet <br /> of West 20 feet, Lot 48 to City of Everett. 140 AiIagnolia ' <br /> �._-�-------- <br /> Mr. Craig I'ullerton of Che City of Everett Engineerin� Deparhnent spokc �n <br /> bchalf of Mr. Stein. I�e stated that Mr. 5tein had inentioned building a <br /> garage on t]ie east side of his house at the time the City purdiased a portion <br /> of Lot 4II from A4r. Stein. The Engineering Department volunteered to <br /> assist Mr. 5tein in attempting to acquire a variance from the Board of <br /> Adjustinent so he could build his garage to the East property line. <br /> rTlic Engineering Department felt they had created a l�ardsliip For Mr. Stein <br /> � when tliey purchased a portion of his property. <br /> There were no further comments from the audience. <br /> After visual observation of t:lie subject property and considering all the facCs, <br /> it was moved by Mr. Ingram, seconded Uy Mr. ]3aird, and unanimously <br /> carried to grant the applicant's request for the following reasons: <br /> 1. The granting of Yhc variance will not be det:rimental to lhe <br /> area as the adjacent property to the East is owned by the City. <br /> ?. Gr�nting tlie variance will assist the o�vner in the fiill enjoyinent <br /> of his property rights. <br /> 3.
