At east side of house, install <br /> access door of pressure treated plywood, same size as existing, adding <br /> 4"x6" header over opening, and leaving concrete entry area as is. <br /> Footings shall be at least 7"x15" and walls shall be e" thick. <br /> Footings shall be minimum of 18" below grade on undisturbed dirt, with <br /> two continuous q4 steel reinforcing bars, and walls shall have #4 <br /> reinforcing bar horizontal and at 32" o.c. vertical where wall is 24" <br /> tall, all steel in grouted block cells. Install 1/2" anchor bolts (or qu� <br /> other approved metal anchors) 4-ft. max. o.c. , 2"x6" preseure-£reated"i.��T�����p� <br /> sill, and screened ventilation openings at corners and for cross �'_����'r,,� <br /> ventilation, all according to Code. New joists may be installed <br /> without removing existing, by spacing out from existing with pressure- <br /> treated spacers In area under first-story bathtub, install full- <br /> length �oist next to new tub drain, eliminating need for header joist. <br /> Work shall include replacement of rotted rim and end joists at <br /> northeast corner of building.
