( � <br /> Il. The City of �verett Building Official has found the building on the above described <br /> property to be substandard and may endanger the life, limb, health, property or safety of the <br /> public and is rendered dangerous pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Code for the <br /> Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, Sec. 302, nocing the following: <br /> 1. The building exists in violation of specific requirements applicable to such buildin�s <br /> provided by the buildin� regulations of this jurisdiction, as speci6ed in the Buildin� <br /> code and housing code as adopted by Ordinance of this jurisdiction relating to the <br /> condition of buildings. <br /> 2. The building is open to the public and is an attractive nuisance to inquisitive minors, <br /> and a potential harbor for va�rants. <br /> 3. The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance known to the <br /> common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br /> 4. The building has been abandoned for a period in e+ccess of six munths <br /> 1[I. The above described building shall either be demolished or repaired in accordance with all <br /> current Buildin�Codes and all other applicable City of Everett codes. <br /> IV. If the owners elect to repair the building in accordance with the current Building code <br /> requirements, all required permits must be secured therefore, and the work physically commenced <br /> within sixty (60) days of the date of this Order. All work must be completed within ninety (90) <br /> days of the date of this Order. <br /> V. lf the owners elect to demolish the building, all required permits shall bP secured therefore <br /> within thirty (30) of the date of this order. Such demolition must be completed within sixty (60) <br /> days from the date of this Order. <br /> VI. Since the building is uninhabitable in its present condition, it shall be kept secured from <br /> unauthorized entry and remain vacant until such time as the building is repaired in accordance <br /> with the current Building Code or demolished and removed from the property. <br /> Vll. lf the requirements set forth in Paragraphs Ill, 1V, V, and VI above are not complied with, <br /> the city of Everett will order the building to remain vacated and proceed to cause the building to <br /> be demolished and charge the costs thereof against the property and/or its owners. <br /> Vlll. Any person having any record title or legal interest in the building may appeal from this <br /> Notice and Order to the Advisory and Appeals Board. Such appeal must be in writing as is <br /> required in the Dangerous Building Code and filed with the City of Everett Buildin� Ofticial <br /> within thirty (30) days from the date of service of this Notice and Order. Failure to appeal will <br /> constitute a wairer of all ri�ht to an administrative hearing and detcrmination of,he matter. <br />
