The International IIuilding Code and the International <br /> Residential Code provide that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the <br /> permit is suspended o:abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. <br /> If you wish to prevent this permit from expiring wid�out documentation of completion, you may: <br /> i) ?equest inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspe�tions of the work tnat is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension, detailing�ustifiable cause for <br /> extension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department <br /> for mictofilming witliout final approval.
