I made a visit to the Itome at 1:00 p,m..Iuly 5, 1972� I found living conditions [o be extremely pc+or. �idence of excreta and vomitus was throughout home, witli u resulting repulsivc odor. Some te�ants (about five) expressed grntltude for someone [aking care of Verno�. They said conditions there were poor--such as the bathroom wir.h plugged plumUing w:�s unusable. I saw a sink in the "kitchen" zrea with etand- ing water in it. One tenant said he li�•es and sleeps on the front porct�, because of lice inside. I did not make n closer inspection at this time. Nxs. His dauonter was also there. He was lying on the floor near the kitchen aroa. They c:erc ut[empting to get him to n hospital for needed care. The owner of thie establishment, Idr. Unsworth was present and made no comment. tie appenred to be unconcerned re: the health oY the inhabitants of his house. According to one tenant, Dir.
