Vannier, also known as Evelyn <br />Vannier, George Vannier, her husband; <br />Reserved Investor, Inc. <br />Respondents <br />o .:, Q a GB L om YJAe_0 <br />NO. 1 <br />FINDINGS OF FACT, <br />CONCLUSION AND ORDER <br />On the 27th day of May, 1963, a hearing was held before the under- <br />signed Inspector of the City of Everett, pursuant to Notice and Complaint, <br />on file herein; that Hilda E. Vannier and George Vannier appeared personally; <br />that Reserved Investor, Inc., did not appear; that Clive W. Crawford is de- <br />ceased; that, after discussion, the Inspector makes the following: <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. That the above named respondents Vannier are owners of the <br />property described in the Complaint; that Reserved Investor, Inc., are con- <br />tract purchasers of said property; that said named Reserved Investor, Inc., <br />were properly served with Notice and Complaint; that a No Occupancy Order was <br />also served with the Complaint. <br />That the Inspector finds the following defects to exist, to -wit: <br />Foundation 50%o gone under residence; furnace not ' operation and <br />furnace room not up to code; apartments lack two-way egress or exit; windows <br />in entire building should be replaced; all walls and ceilings throughout <br />the building need one hour fire protection; open stairways need to be en- <br />closed with one hour fire protection and a one hour door on each floor:; <br />chimneys are deteriorated and dangerous and will have to come down; this <br />building has deteriorated beyond 50%; it is a non -conforming building in <br />Fire Zone 1; building does not have the required safeguards and is dilapi- <br />dated and unfit for human habitation; the sanitary facilities are far below <br />human requirements, inadequate according to Ordinances of the City of Everett <br />and are unfit for human use; the plumbing, heating and sanitation facilities <br />of this building must be replumbed, replaced and brought to Code; electric <br />wiring is dangerous and unsafe and far below Code requirements, and building <br />will need to be re -wired completely to conform to the standards of the <br />National Electrical Code and the Ordinances of the City of Everett. <br />From the foregoing findings, the Inspector makes the following: <br />CONCLUSIONS AND ORDER <br />-1- <br />v <br />
