The permiC also stated that parking will be provided for 159
vehicles. At this point in time the Senior Center remodel has already been
constructed. When permit applications were submitted for the remodel ,
concurrent applications for the parkirg and the building were not required.
In consultation with the Planning Department which is responsible for the
administration of the Zoning Code, it was determined that applications for
the parking need not be made at the same time as applications for the other
structures so long as the park ng is ultimately provided prior to the
completion of the housing and remodel projects authorized by the SPU.
If the Everett Housing Authority desires to obtain a building permit for the
construction of the housing tower prior to applying for a building permit
,' for the parking structure, it would be issued provided the application meets
0 all code requirements. However, assuming they proceed in this manner, in
order to ensure that the requisite parking will be provided, the following
; wouid be required: 1 ) Everett Housing Authority represents to the City that
they will in fact provide the parking spaces required in the SPU for the
Iw w Housing Authority's structure; 2) the issuance of the Certificate of
Occupancy for the housing tower would be contingent upon the Housing
Authority first providing the required parking spaces; and 3) the Everett
Housing Authority would have to assume all risks attendant with their
`q proceeding in this phased manner.

cc: Mayor Kinch
Bob Landles
" Bruce Jones/Jim Iles
1 (4544) f
  V '
 ..1 .th .
\
!> ,
/ _ ; 1,;
