These comments <br /> address buiiding issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br /> (such as Uti�ities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2009 International Building Code,) (2009 <br /> International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State <br /> Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated othenvise. <br /> In order for the processing of your applicatian to continue, it will be necessary to provide <br /> the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> 1. All structure supporting living space above the lower level unit is required to be protected with <br /> one-hour fire-resistive constriction. Sho�r• {iow beams and posts supporting the structure above <br /> are protected. Show beams and posts on plan view. <br /> 2. Show how the existing Floor framing around the stair opening is currently supported. <br /> 3. Shower to be minimum 900 square inches and capable of encompassing a 30"circle measured at <br /> the top of the threshold, to a point 70"above the drain. <br /> 4. The windows shown on the elevations are a different size than the window call-out on the floor <br /> plan; please ciarify. <br /> 5. Revise references of Uniform Electrical Code and Uniform Mechanical Code to the currently <br /> adopted codes. <br /> 6. General notes show maximum distance between members of guardrail to be 4". The code <br /> restricts the opening such that a 4"sphere cannot aass through (less than 4"opening). <br /> 7. The curre;it energy code Chapter 6, Table 6-1 option III - Unlimited Glazing, specifies R-49 ��i <br /> ceiling/attic vaulted ceilings R-38 and window U-value to be U-0.30 or less. Please revise plans <br /> to reFlect the current requirements. <br /> 8.
