Although the city realizes parking can be very tight in some of our densely populated areas, it is a violation of The Everett Municipal Code (EMC) to pazk in the front yard setback, and use tlie curb, planting strip and/or sidewalk to access such a parking space unless on a permitted driveway. An inspection of the site was conducted on March Z0, 2002 the following conditions were noted. EMC 19.34.060 (J) Vehicles shall not be pazked in required front setback azeas for single-family and duplex uses, except when located upon a permitted driveway. Parkrng is not allotived rn the 20 foot front yard selback area. EMC 13.30.020 Special, private use of city property—Permit. No special or private use sl�all be made of any city right-of-way including, but not limited to, streets, alleys, and sidewalks, by any person, entity or corporation without first having secured from t}te public works department the requisite permit and having paid the permit fee.
