CITY OF GVERETT Engineering/Public Services Dear Mr. Carlson: During an inspection on July 9, 2001 of your property located at 3416 Lombard Ave, it was noted that conditions exist that are in violation of the Everett Municipal Code. Section 13.16.020 of the Everett Municipal Code provides: No person, firm or curporation shall remove, alter or construct any curb, sidewalk, driveway approach, gutter, pavement or other improvement in any public street, alley or other property owned by or dedicated to or used by the city and over which it has jurisdiction to regulate the matters covered hereby, without first obtaining a permit from the city engineer, and no permit shall be granted until the applicant shall file with the city engineer for his approval a copy of a drawing showing the location and size of all such proposed improvements to serve the property affected. The use of the front planting strip, side planting strip, sidewalk and/or front lawn as a driveway of this property is a violation of the city code. & Section 19.34.060 (J) Vehicles shall not be parked in required front setback areas for single-family and duplex uses, except when located U-n permitted driveways. You may not park a vehicle in the front yard of this property. You must obtain a permit and put in a legal driveway with curb cut, paving and other required improvements; or return this area to landscaping or lawn. And you must cease and desist use of the side planting strip, front planting strip, sidewalk and front yard set back as a ai iveway. Corrective Action must be started on or before August 12, 2001. Should you fail to correct this platter and bring you property into compliance as required by law, a violation may be issued to you, which could result in a fine and/or costs being assessed against you.
