Additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />(2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the <br />City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />1. All dwelling units shall provide complete independent living facilities for one or more <br />persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and <br />sanitation. <br />2. Every dwelling unit shall have at least one habitable room that shall have not less than <br />120 square feet of gross floor area. Other habitable rooms shall have a floor area of not <br />less than 70 sq. ft. (exception is kitchens). Habitable rooms shall not be less than 7 feet <br />in any horizontal dimension. <br />3. Use different symbols to represent new construction. Show all partitions. <br />4. Provide smoke alarms per R314 International Residential Code (IRC); show on plans <br />(including basement). <br />5. Basement plan shows the partitions from the main floor. Please remove main floor <br />partitions and show any existing or proposed partitions at lower level. <br />6. Provide minimum 36" landing not more than 1 Yz" below the finished floor at <br />entrance/exit to laundry. <br />7.
