This inspection revealed the following violations of the Everett <br />Municipal Code: <br />Code Section 13.16.050 (F) No permit for a driveway approach shall be granted where <br />reasonable egress and ingress, for the puroose for which the property is used, can be <br />secured from the alley. <br />Code Section 13-30.020 Special, private use of city property -permit. No special or <br />private use shall be made of any city right-of-way including, but not limited to, streets, <br />alleys and sidewalks, by any person, entity or corporation without first having secured <br />from the public works department the requisite permit and having paid the permit fee. <br />The use of the front planting strip, side planting strip, sidesvulk and/or front lawn as <br />a driveway of this property is a violation of the city code. <br />You must obtain a permit and put in a legal driveway with curb cut, paving and other <br />required improvements if you wish to continue entering your property from the Lombard <br />Avenue. You must cease and desist use of the side -planting strip, front planting strip, <br />sidewalk and front yard set back as a driveway until you have secured the required <br />permits that would authorized such use. Please contact Public Works for any specific <br />questions (425) 257-8800. Corrective Action must be started on or before February 22, <br />2002.
