The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by <br />limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work <br />is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without <br />documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that l�as occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request finai inspection if the work is compieted, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days.
